Data entry client
PXC Windows Data Entry Client program is provided as an "out of the box" solution for
data entry of credit card details and amounts for Windows NT OR Windows 95/98 PC workstations. The Windows user
is presented with a simple, easy to use Windows screen dialog that has
intelligent features like auto-tab between fields. The user enters the card number, expiry date, and amount
and presses [Enter] to obtain an authorisation. Any Windows 95+ PC can run the
Windows Client application and up to 256 separate Windows clients can be simultaneously
connected to Payment Express® Server.

- Product selection
The user can select a predefined Product, which directs the
transaction at the corresponding account.
- Account Selection
This feature makes the product especially suitable for businesses
that process transactions on behalf of suppliers who would prefer that
credit card transactions be settled directly to a supplier
account.
- User Authentication
Before any transactions can take place the user must logon using a
Username/Password.
- Refunds
The ability to process refunds can be restricted to certain user
logons. - NT Logon Name/IP Address capture
The users NT Logon Name and IP Address are captured and stored
with each transaction to help with tracking down fraudulent use.

Enter Card Number in entry box marked. Expiry Date
and Amount are also required fields. The Title Bar and MerchantRef labels
can be customized to suit.

The settings page is accessed by clicking on the icon in the title bar of
the main dialog. The purpose of the settings page is to view and modify
basic settings used to locate the Payment Express Server.

Refund Transaction
The PXC Data Entry Client can support refund transactions. This must be
configured at the Payment Express Host. When logged on to an account with
refund privilege granted, the user interface includes a "Refund"
check box:
