Regional Access:
The developer or merchant can certify once with Payment Express and then seamlessly process transactions in any Payment Express enabled market where the customer has a merchant facility. From a developer point of view, systems can be made globally ready from the outset as the Payment Express interface remains the same.
Scalability:
Payment Express is constantly extending the capabilities of its core systems. This expansion does not affect any existing customer and Payment Express is committed to maintaining backward compatibility.
Direct Scheme:
Payment Express connects directly to American Express and Diners for Australia, NZ and Pacific Island customers.
The benefits for the merchant are: Accurate settlement dates (ability to match deposits with merchant reports), ability to transmit extended billing information (e.g.: Airline and rental car industry can provide reservation details on the cardholder statement), rapid response times (approximately twice as fast as bank connected Amex links), fraud protection (ability to confirm and check CID Amex 4 digit number).
