What happens from here?
A member of the DPS sales team will contact you within 3 working days of receiving this application to confirm technical and commercial details and to establish which pricing plans will best suit your business requirements. We will answer any questions you may have, and also supply a copy of the EFTPOS terms and conditions, direct debit and activation guide to complete and return 72 hours prior to the installation date. You will also be provided with information on EFTPOS merchant accounts and what you need to have setup with your bank.
Applying for an EFTPOS merchant account
You will need to set up an EFTPOS merchant account with your bank, if you do not have one already. A merchant account allows for the processing of EFTPOS transactions to a bank account, this process is managed by your acquiring bank. To set up the merchant account you will need to contact your banks merchant services team and request an ETSL number for EFTPOS (card present transactions). This merchant number is required by DPS in order to install Payment Express EFTPOS. For more information, please view our bank guide pages.
