Bank Requirements

  • DPS customers need to arrange a “merchant facility” with Merchant Solutions. For more information on the banks that are presently supported, please visit the connectivity page.
  • Supported card types are Visa and MasterCard.
  • To facilitate the settlement of funds between Payment Express and your bank, DPS will need to be provided with the following details
BANK / ACQUIRER MERCHANT ID TERMINAL ID CARD ACCEPTOR NAME CARD ACCEPTOR LOCATION MERCHANT CATEGORY CODE

3D Secure

Currently all users of DPS Hosted Solution PxPay can use MPI (merchant plug-in) developed by DPS for 3D secure authentication at no additional cost.  To enable this functionality you will need to enrol with your bank.  For more information visit our 3D Secure page

Preauthorisation / Completion

Preauthorisation / completion is a two stage transactional process which involves validating a credit card in its first phase before completing the transaction.  This feature is available by default.
